City Council President Sentenced in New Jersey on Corruption Charges
Former Jersey City, New Jersey City Council President Mariano Vega was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for agreeing to accept $30,000 in cash bribes and illicit contributions in exchange for exercising his future official influence and authority.
