Mississippi Man Sentenced for Oil Spill-Related Fraud

Dennis L. Moore, of Port Gibson, Mississippi, was sentenced to 13 months in federal prison for mail fraud in connection with his scheme to defraud British Petroleum of $90,000 by falsely claiming monetary losses to a fictitious business following the Deepwater Horizon spill.
