CARY, N.C. ? With Christmas right around the corner, what better way to finish your shopping than stopping by your local convenience store? Jon Bratta, vice president of packaged goods at Kangaroo Express, shares his list of hot products that can be found in the aisles of any convenience store.

Stocking stuffers include Perky Jerky made with Guarana, a common ingredient of energy drinks; ear buds for iPods; LED flashlights; bags of candy or snacks. Card stuffers include gift cards for fuel and snacks at the convenience store, as well as ones for restaurants and other stores. According to National Retail Federation?s 2011 Holiday Consumer Intentions and Actions survey, eight in 10 holiday shoppers plan to give gift cards this year.

Redbox locations, found outside many convenience stores, offer vouchers for rentals, and lottery scratchers can also be purchased for friends and family. Host and hostess gifts include a bottle of wine, or a pack of craft or import beers. ?If alcohol is not on the menu, grab a holiday card and add one of the card stuffers above,? advised Bratta.

And don?t forget the batteries. ?You know they?re never included but you always forget to buy them when you?re at the store,? said Bratta.
