U.N. chief lauds Suu Kyi

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday praised opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi's efforts to advance democracy in Myanmar a day after she said she would take the oath of office for the country's parliament despite objecting to its wording.
