WASHINGTON ? Tomorrow the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) will host a tobacco retailing compliance webinar on the process that will soon take place once the FDA has served a civil money penalty complaint against a tobacco retailer.

The FDA is currently conducting compliance inspections at retail locations and issuing warning letters to those who are found in violation of federal law. Although FDA has so far only issued warning letters, this will soon change and retailers must be aware of the civil money penalty process when it begins.
