YORK, PA ? Rutter?s Farm Stores plans to break ground on the chain?s 57th convenience store, which will be located off the Loganville exit of I-83 in Loganville Borough in southern York County.�?
The 5,700 square foot convenience store will employ more than 80 workers from 14 local contractors during construction and 40 store employees when it opens in early spring of 2012.
The store will feature numerous environmentally friendly attributes including LED exterior lighting, energy-reducing skylights, infrared-controlled interior lighting, a white reflective roof and instant hot water heaters. In addition, customers can contribute to the effort by tossing empty cans, bottles and old newspapers into the recycling bins provided at this and every Rutter?s location.
The store will have 18 automobile fueling positions, 4 automobile diesel fueling positions and 3 dedicated diesel truck fueling spaces. Customers will also enjoy 24-hour access to an extensive food menu with touch-screen ordering, an in-store seating area for 14 and a premium coffee island. The store will also feature a surcharge-free M&T bank ATM and a Blockbuster video rental kiosk.
