DALLAS ? Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) has teamed up with Alliance Data Systems Corporation to provide private label and co-branded credit card services for its network of 5,100 independently owned Marathon branded sites in 18 states.

Alliance Data will provide Marathon Petroleum with private label and co-branded credit card services, including account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, credit card issuance, statement generation, remittance processing, customer service functions and marketing services.

To help boost and retain customer loyalty, Marathon Petroleum?s private label and co-brand account-holders will receive benefits for repeat purchases, such as discounts on fuel at Marathon-branded stations.
