Wounded Knee Man Sentenced for Involuntary Manslaughter

Russ Hollow Horn, 47, of Wounded Knee, was sentenced to 51 months' incarceration, three years of supervised release, and ordered to pay $100 to the Victim Assistance Fund. Hollow Horn's intoxication caused him to drive his pickup truck in an unsafe manner resulting in him crossing over the center-of-the-road dividing line and colliding with another vehicle. Four individuals occupied the other vehicle, and three were killed as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
