LANCASTER, PA ? Giant Food Stores opens its second Giant To Go convenience store at 8:00 a.m. today in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, a 4,000-square foot store that offers convenient meal solutions.
?We gained valuable customer insight from our first Giant To Go location, and this new Giant To Go will deliver an expanded fresh variety of food coupled with all the traditional convenience store offerings,? said Sean Michael, store manager. ?Time-starved customers will find fresh and healthy meal alternatives prepared especially for them.?
The Giant To Go store has three distinct shopping areas: Meals to Go, Groceries to Go, and Snacks to Go, all that offer an assortment of fresh and healthy to-go choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Food offerings include rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, a salad bar, subs, a coffee station (with a real cappuccino machine), sushi, oatmeal and soup.
?With this addition of our fourth fuel station in Lancaster County, we are pleased to offer another location and twelve pumps for our customers to redeem their Gas Extra Rewards,? Michael said.
In 2009, retailers from around the world visited the new Giant To Go format in Pennsylvania as part of the NACS Global Forum store tours. This year, attendees will check out retail formats in Vancouver. Register today at nacsonline.com/globalforum.
