CARY, N.C. ? The Pantry Inc. is celebrating National Coffee Day on Saturday, Sept. 29 by offering a 12-oz. Bean Street Coffee for only a penny to every guest at its more than 1,500 Kangaroo Express convenience stores between 8 am and 12:00 pm on Sept. 29 to enjoy their one-cent, customizable Bean Street Coffee.

That?s why National Coffee Day is the perfect time to show our appreciation with a cup of coffee that can be paid for with the least appreciated coin of them all ? the penny,? said John Fisher, senior vice president of marketing, merchandising and restaurant operations, Kangaroo Express.
Other foodservice locations are planning special National Coffee Day promos. On Sept. 29., Krispy Kreme will offer a free 12-oz. cup of coffee at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canada locations. McDonald?s will expand its celebration for the entire week: from Sept. 23 to 29, customers can get a free small Premium Roast McCaf� coffee.
