Florida Man Guilty of Shining Laser at Law Enforcement Helicopter
Mark Clay Hazlitt, of Lakeland, Florida, pled guilty to interference with the operation of an aircraft in connection with pointing a green laser beam at a Polk County Sheriff's Office helicopter, causing the tactical flight officer's night vision goggles to shut down and causing disorientation inside the aircraft.
