New York Diamond District Jeweler Charged in $5.6 Million Bankruptcy Fraud
Shalamu Misimov, a jeweler based in Manhattan's Diamond District, was arrested in connection with allegedly making false claims in bankruptcy court regarding a customer who failed to pay for approximately $5.6 million in merchandise when, in fact, the customer was fictional.
